Led by Drue Davis’ all-around title, the Free State High gymnastics team took second place on Saturday at the Free State Invitational.

Davis won the floor event (9.30), took second on the bars (8.20) and beam (8.65) and placed 10th in the vault (8.45).

Also for the Firebirds, Aly Frydman took third in the floor event with a score of 8.65.

Lawrence High did not have a team score, but the Lions were lead by Tawney Carter with a score of 7.90 on the vault and 6.35 on the beam.
