Two arrested on burglary, gun, criminal damage charges

Two men were arrested early Wednesday in connection with an incident reported in the 1800 block of West 26th Street.

According to police reports, a 48-year-old Lawrence woman reported at 2 a.m. criminal threats, criminal possession of a firearm, criminal trespass and criminal damage.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office booking log, a 21-year-old Topeka man was arrested at 2:45 a.m. near Sixth Street and Wakarusa Drive on charges of criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, disorderly conduct and driving with an open container.

A 36-year-old Lawrence man was arrested at 3:39 a.m. near 33rd and Iowa streets on charges of aggravated burglary, criminal damage of property, criminal trespass and making criminal threats.
