Orientation sessions on Walktober offered
October is National Walking Month and Lawrence Memorial Hospital is offering sessions to help get people moving.
LMH has teamed up with the Douglas County Community Health Improvement Project to offer orientation sessions about Walktober, a free walking program. Participants who complete 20 walks during the month will receive a gift.
Remaining orientation sessions will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. today and noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday. For more information, call LMH Connect Care at 749-5800.
