Details will emerge about a significant water line replacement project that is expected to affect homes and traffic along Iowa Street.

The city will be host to a meeting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the cafeteria of West Junior High School, 2700 Harvard Road.

The meeting will provide information about how the city plans to proceed with a project to replace water lines on Iowa Street between Ninth Street and University Drive, and also along University Drive, Yale Road, Orchard Lane and Westdale Road.

Staff members from the city’s utilities department and engineers from BG Consultants will be on hand to answer questions about the project.
