A 67-year-old Lenexa woman was transported to Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka after a one-car accident Wednesday morning. According to Kansas Highway Patrol reports, the vehicle was traveling on the turnpike near mile marker 197 when the driver lost control and hit the barrier wall. The driver was not injured, but the passenger was transported to the hospital, where she was treated and released Wednesday.
