Auto-Owners Insurance has announced Hedges Insurance Inc., of Lawrence, as one of the top 10 growth agencies for the company in its Missouri region (states of Missouri and Kansas) for 2008.

The agency was recognized at an Aug. 4 luncheon meeting at its regional office in Columbia, Mo., where recipients were given a plaque. Hedges Insurance has represented Auto-Owners since 2008.

Auto-Owners Insurance has been doing business since 1916 and serving Kansas since 1996. It is a Fortune 500 company and one of only seven carrier groups to receive A.M. Best’s highest rating.
