Women’s golf tied for seventh

? After two rounds, the Kansas University women’s golf team was tied for seventh on Monday at the Edwin Watts/Palmetto Intercollegiate.

Senior Emily Powers fired a two-under 70 in the second round and sits in a tie for third place individually.

East Tennessee State leads the 18-team tournament with a team score of 583. Maryland held second place at 586, while Campbell University sat in third at 591. The Jayhawks are at 601.

The tournament will conclude today with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m.
