Children invited to Halloween activities at KU residence halls

Kansas University residence halls will feature trick-or-treating and a haunted house and carnival for children from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Children may trick-or-treat in Lewis and Templin halls. Students distributing candy will have Halloween door decorations and doors propped open.

A kid-friendly haunted house will be set up at Hashinger Hall. At Ellsworth Hall, a carnival will feature candy ghosts, cookie decoration and digging in sand for buried treasure.

At Nunemaker Center, across from Templin Hall, pumpkin painting and face painting will be available.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all activities.

The residence halls participating all are on Daisy Hill, southeast of 15th and Iowa streets.
