Defendant in indecent liberties case sentenced

? A 67-year-old Basehor man was sentenced Friday to more than 10 years in prison for engaging in inappropriate sexual behavior with elementary-age students.

Leavenworth County District Judge Gunnar Sundby sentenced Dorsey Aldridge to 10 years in prison for one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and 32 months for each of two counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child.

The sentences will be served concurrent to one another, with no chance of parole, the judge said. Upon being released from prison, Aldridge will be under lifetime supervision.

On Sept. 17, Aldridge pleaded no contest to one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated indecent solicitation of a child in exchange for the dismissal of a second indecent liberties charge.
