A Richmond woman was killed Friday evening in a two-vehicle accident in southern Franklin County, according to a news release issued by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Cindy Wilson, 51, was killed in a collision between a Ford pickup truck and Ford Tempo at the intersection of Allen and Eisenhower roads near the Franklin and Anderson County line around 6 p.m. Wilson was a passenger in the Tempo.

The driver of the Tempo, John Auten, 54, and the driver of the pickup, Larry Wicks, 56, both from Richmond, were transported to Overland Park Regional Medical Center with unknown injuries.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
