Gingrich to speak at Dole Institute on Wednesday

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will speak Wednesday evening at the Dole Institute of Politics as the inaugural Robert J. Dole Distinguished Visiting Fellow.

Gingrich will deliver a speech “Tripartisan Solutions for the 21st Century” at 7:30 p.m. at the institute, 2350 Petefish Drive, on Kansas University’s West Campus.

Following the speech, the Republican first elected to Congress from his Georgia district in 1978 who served as speaker from 1995 to 1999 will participate in a question and answer session.

The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m.
