Law enforcement report

• Douglas County Sheriff’s officers arrested a 45-year-old Eudora man Friday afternoon on charges of aggravated battery and violating a protective order. He was arrested at his home in the 2000 section of North 1200 Road. Bond was not set.

• A 48-year-old Lawrence man reported aggravated burglary and theft early Thursday morning. A Garmin GPS system and $25 in currency was stolen from his residence in the 2000 block of Palmer Drive. The incident occurred between midnight and 5:50 a.m. Thursday.

• A Colt AR-15 machine gun and a Ruger Single Six pistol were reported stolen from a 60-year-old Lawrence man’s vehicle Thursday morning. According to a police report, the weapons were stolen from his car in the 2000 block of Hogan Drive. Also reported stolen was a yellow toolbox, a backpack and $500 in currency. Total loss was valued at $3,165. The incident occurred between 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

• Several cases of criminal damage were reported Tuesday morning in the 1700 block of West 19th Street. Five victims reported that their vehicles were damaged between midnight and 4:20 a.m. The paint was damaged on all five vehicles. The windshield was damaged on one vehicle, and the front license plate was stolen on another. Total damage for the five cars amounted to an estimated $12,020.
