• Lawrence police arrested a 52-year-old man early Friday morning on charges of aggravated battery, obstruction and criminal damage to property. They made the arrest in the 1900 block of West 25th Street. Bond was not set. The man was booked into jail at 12:15 a.m. Friday.

• A 38-year-old Lawrence man reported that a 17-inch Sony HDTV was stolen about 7 a.m. Thursday. Prescription medication was also stolen in the incident. Total loss was valued at $1,040. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of Legends Circle.
