International award-winning painter Donna Aldridge will be the featured speaker at the Lawrence Art Guild’s monthly meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.

Aldridge chiefly focuses on color, with elegantly engineered compositions and a rich sense of light and shadow. Fluent in a broad range of mediums and subject matter, she has been featured in International Artist magazine, The Pastel Journal, Pastel Society of America Pastelogram and other publications and TV programs. Her popular “Mastering Color” DVD series has sold on three continents.

The first half-hour of Monday’s meeting covers old and new business, with the artist forum starting at 7 p.m.
