Political commentator George Stephanopoulos is scheduled to visit Kansas University in April.

He will speak at 7:30 p.m. April 7 at the Kansas Union ballroom. A question-and-answer session is planned.

The event is free and open to the public, though tickets are required, and can be obtained by visiting the Student Union Activities box office on the fourth floor of the Kansas Union, which is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Stephanopoulos is the chief Washington correspondent for ABC News and anchor of the ABC Sunday morning political show, “This Week with George Stephanopoulos.” He also served in the Clinton administration.

Tickets are limited to two per person, and are currently available to KU students only. They will be available to the general public beginning Monday.
