A workshop for educators is set for June 10 and 11 in Lecompton and will be hosted by the Kansas Association for Conservation and Environmental Education, the Upper Wakarusa Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy, and the Douglas County Conservation District.

The workshop is open to all educators working with children and will include training in Project WET, Project WILD and WILD Aquatic, and Project Learning Tree. In addition, participants will receive the Kansas Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom “Exploring Kansas’ Natural Resources Educator Guide” and corresponding lessons.

The cost is $30, and preregistration is required. One hour of graduate credit through Baker University is available for an additional cost of $55.
