Agriculture futures leapt Thursday. September wheat added 4.75 cents to $5.16, and corn jumped 11.5 cents to $3.32. December oats gained 4 cents to $2.08, and November soybeans soared 55 cents to $9.71. On the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. October live cattle climbed 0.60 cent to 89.85 cents, while August feeder cattle inched up 0.10 cent to $1.02. October lean hogs shed 0.50 cent to 52.60 cents, and August pork bellies dropped 0.55 cent to 61 cents.
