Lawrence’s indoor aquatic centers at 4706 Overland Dr. and 1901 La. will be closed from Aug. 1 through Aug. 16 for annual maintenance.

During the closure, the Outdoor Aquatic Center, 727 Ky., will remain open from 1 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. daily, with lap swim open from 10 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

People with yearly or monthly pool passes that are valid for the dates of the closures will have two weeks worth of days added to their passes.

Administrative offices at the Indoor Aquatic Center will maintain regular business hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the closure. For more information, call 832-SWIM.
