4-H and FCE news

The Stull Busy Beavers elected officers in October. New officers are Tori Booth, president; Wyatt Schumann, vice president; Taylor Springer, secretary; Ashley Lesser and Kyle Johnston, treasurer; Dylan Schumann, reporter; Jessye Schumann and Kelsey Wulfkuhle, parliamentarians; Daisy Johnson and Brandon Johnston, historians; Elizabeth Donaldson and Josaphine Houston, song leaders; Tristan Damme and Taylor Russell, recreation; Lexia Jamison, junior president; Coy Leming, junior vice president; Abby Hale, junior secretary; and Madison Wulfkuhle, junior treasurer.

Also in October, the club had its annual hayrack ride and hot dog cook-out at the Lemings’ house and celebrated member and club accomplishments with a potluck dinner for Achievement Night. In November, a pizza party was given to thank parents for their involvement in the 4-H program. In December, the club participated in three community service projects, adopted a family of six for Christmas, donated more than 200 canned goods to the Lecompton United Methodist Church food pantry, and sang Christmas carols at Pioneer Ridge.

Members and their families met in January at the Stull United Methodist Church and will meet again at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at the church.
