Tucker Carlson, senior political correspondent for MSNBC, will be the keynote speaker, with Sen. Sam Brownback as the master of ceremonies, on Feb. 3 at the Kansas Chamber of Commerce annual dinner in Topeka. Cobalt Boats will receive the Chamber’s Ad Astra Award, an honor presented each year to one business that exemplifies both business and civic excellence within the state.

“Cobalt Boats is a world-class business and a leader in innovation, which is why they are receiving the Ad Astra Award,” said Amy Blankenbiller, Kansas Chamber president and CEO.

For four decades, Cobalt Boats has developed a strong reputation of combining world class marine design and manufacturing capability with small-town southeast Kansas ethics. The company remains privately owned, and is currently run by the second generation of St. Clair family members.
