Over the Rainbow Doll Club met Feb. 12 at the home of Jan Dyer. Members brought their club dolls dressed in Valentine’s outfits created from materials given at the January meeting. During the meeting, Verna Piersee won “Best of Show” and Janet Lukehart won the door prize. Gail Brewster gave the second part of a two-part lesson on dollmaker Robin Woods. More than 70 Robin Woods’ dolls were present. Next month’s meeting will be on March 12 at the home of Val Fittel, and the program will be on Betsy McCall dolls.

The Wednesday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Feb. 11 was directed by Virginia Seaver. North-South winners were Harry Shaffer and Ed Howard, first in A; Lester Dalton and Nita Scales, second in A and first in B; Janice Hollowell and Mary Fenlon, third in A; Eldon Herd and Chuck Hedges, second in B; and Virginia Johnston and Florine Creek, first in C.

East-West winners were Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges, first in A and B; Bobby Patton and Mark Osborn, second in A and B; David Piro and Paul Heitzman, third in A; and Mona Bell and Carol Ball, first in C.

The Thursday Morning Mentor Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Feb. 12 was directed by Virginia Seaver. Winners were Dick Shaffer and Marilyn Martin, first; Eldon Herd and Earle Core, second; Virginia Seaver and Barbara McCorkle, third; and Patricia Lechtenberg and Nita Scales, fourth.

The Friday Afternoon Duplicate Club’s game on Feb. 13 was directed by Virginia Seaver. North-South winners were Virginia Seaver and Kent McCullough, first in A; Harry Shaffer and James Gunn, second in A and first in B; Vince Nordberg and Jim Stewart, third in A, second in B, and first in C; Chris Lane and Carol Ball, fourth in A and third in B; and Barbara McCorkle and Virginia Johnston, second in C.

East-West winners were David Piro and Paul Heitzman, first in A; Steve Vossler and Ed Howard, second in A; Dick Shaffer and Jack Flickinger, third in A, first in B, and first in C; Mona Bell and Madelyn Jenks, fourth in A, second in B, and second in C; and Klee Zaricky and Sally Taylor, third in B.

The Sunday Afternoon Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Feb. 15 utilized an individual movement and was directed by Chris Lane. Winners were Marilyn Martin, first; Jeff Mermin, second; Bobby Patton, third; and Ed Howard tied in fourth with Chris Lane.

The Monday Evening Duplicate Bridge Club’s game on Feb. 16 was directed by Virginia Seaver. North-South winners were Vince Nordberg and Jim Stewart, first in A, B and C; Kent McCullough and John Fittell, second in A and B; and Harry Shaffer and Terry Tolar, third in A and B.

East-West winners were David Piro and Grant Sutton, first in A; Donna Johnson and James Masilamani, second in A; Bobby Patton and Eleanor Patton, third in A, first in B and C; and Eldon Herd and Emily Foster, fourth in A and second in B.

University Bridge Club announces results of its Feb. 14 meeting. Hosts were Mary Kanous and Gini Wigington.

Blue winners were Hazel Stellmacher, first; Roz Zimmerer, second; Alice Akin, third; Janet Dunn, fourth; and Walt Hicks, fifth.

Pink winners were Wanda Kring, first; Isabelle Schaake, second; Edna Galle, third; Karen Zimmerer, fourth; and Carol Smith, fifth.
