Basehor-Linwood High School was evacuated Friday after discovery of a bomb threat in a boys restroom.

Assistant Superintendent David Howard said the threat had been scribbled on the wall of the bathroom.

All students were sent from the high school to a local church, Howard said, and authorities sent in dogs to sweep the building.

Howard said the situation was quickly brought under control and students were back inside the building by mid-afternoon.
