David Ice, Lawrence, earned the designation of Certified Professional Manufacturers’ Representative by successfully completing a three-year executive education program.

Manufacturers’ representatives are independent entrepreneurs who sell the products of several manufacturers in a defined territory.

In April 2000, Ice founded Ice & Associates Inc., a firm focused on selling products to the agricultural, heavy construction and industrial equipment manufacturing industries.

Ice serves on the board of directors of the Manufacturers’ Agents National Association (MANA) and is director of District 6, which covers Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska.

He is also a charter member of the MANA’s Kansas City Chapter and continues as its program chairman.
