Douglas County Bank staff to be recognized

Fourteen Douglas County Bank employees will be recognized on Saturday for a combined 110 years of service to the bank.

J. Michael Davies, senior vice president of Trust Services, will be honored for his 25 years of service at Douglas County Bank. Davies joined Douglas County Bank in 1984.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a juris doctor degree from Washburn University.

He is an attorney and also a member of the Kansas Bar Association.

He has had leadership positions in the Douglas County Estate Planning Council and is a member of the trust division of the Kansas Bankers Association.

The 13 other bankers will be recognized for the following years of service:

• 15 years: Lynn Collier, network administrator; and Sharon Haupt, drive-through manager (downtown branch).

• 10 years: Debbie Bott, assistant vice president/branch coordinator; and Lyn Jaimez, Customer Service Representative II/teller training specialist (Universal).

• Five years: Robin Richmond, data entry/processing clerk; Barb Taylor, CSR I (Brandon Woods branch); Ann Fitzgerald, lobby manager (downtown branch); and Julie Brumley, CSR I (South Iowa branch).

• Three years: Keith Gilliland, branch manager (Malls branch); Tim Metz, vice president of loan services/commercial loan officer; Kellie Flournoy, CSR I (Malls branch); Michelle Engle, retail services assistant; and Zak Bolick, loan officer.
