A 55-year-old Lawrence woman was taken to an area hospital after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning. According to Kansas Highway Patrol reports, the woman was struck by a vehicle attempting to change lanes on the turnpike near mile marker 187. The accident occurred about 7 a.m. A condition update for the woman was not available Tuesday night.
