Haskell wins opener

? The Haskell Indian Nations University football team received some good news and some bad news Saturday night.

The good news: Haskell drilled Trinity Bible College, 53-12, in its season opener on the road.

The bad news: Haskell’s No. 1 wide receiver, Casey Wilson, a junior who torched Trinity Bible for four catches, 117 yards and three touchdowns, suffered a compound fracture on his left leg. He will miss six to eight weeks, coach Eric Brock said.

Haskell has won its last three games at Trinity Bible by a combined score of 163-13.
