Police responded Wednesday to a report of a hit-and-run injury accident involving a mo-ped and a car.

According to an accident report, a 42-year-old Lawrence man said he was driving a mo-ped southbound on North Second Street near Lyon Street when an unidentified vehicle sideswiped him from behind and left the scene southbound.

The man suffered scratches to the back of his left leg and was treated by paramedics on the scene.
