With thunderstorms forecast for Sunday, Kansas University’s weekend softball series with Baylor has been amended.

Instead of playing single games today and Sunday, the Jayhawks will meet the Bears in a doubleheader at 2 p.m. today at Arrocha Ballpark.

Five KU seniors will be honored following the twinbill. They are third baseman Val Chapple, outfielders Stevie Crisosto and Dougie McCaulley, catcher Elle Pottorf and pitcher Val George.

Today is also Bark in the Park Day. Fans will be permitted to bring their dogs and be admitted for $3 along with a donation to the Lawrence Humane Society.
