The Roger Hill Volunteer Center still needs 250 more volunteers for Day of Caring 2009. There are a wide array of projects across the community to help with, including gardening, painting, wrapping presents, sorting, and yardwork. The event is April 25; volunteers will meet for breakfast at 9 a.m. at Lawrence High School, 1901 La., then work until noon. Groups or individuals must register beforehand, by e-mail at info@rhvc.org. We want to make this year’s event a big success!
