The 940 Dance Company is about to make an international splash.

The resident professional troupe at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H., is traveling starting today to Puebla, Mexico, for the Performatica Festival, which draws dozens of dance groups for 10 days of performances, workshops and other presentations.

While there, the company will perform “Elusive Memory,” a work choreographed in the fall by artistic director Susan Rieger. The work incorporates ceramic funnels created by former artist-in-residence Jennifer Holt at the arts center.

Dancers include Non Edwards, R. Vance Baldwin, Bobbi Foudree, Katie Brennan and Elizabeth Schafer.

After the troupe returns, it will present Nuevas Obras (New Works), a concert scheduled for 7:30 p.m. April 24 and 25. Those new works will include “Elusive Memory” and others choreographed by members of the 940 Dance Company.

Tickets are $13.50 for adults and $7.50 for students and seniors.
