A 38-year-old Lawrence man was arrested Friday evening for aggravated battery and criminal damage of property after cutting another man in an altercation.

Police were dispatched to the scene at 7:15 p.m. and the arrest was made at 7:40 p.m. at 11th and Haskell.

The victim was treated and released at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, according to Lawrence police.
