¢ Basketball Fundraiser: The Lawrence Phog U-10 boys basketball team is holding a Texas Hold ’em fundraiser. The event will take place at Lawrence Union Pacific Depot at 402 North 2nd Street. ¢ Alvamar Ace: Bud Stagg recorded a hole-in-one Sunday at Alvamar Public. Stagg used an 8-iron on the 164-yard No. 4 hole. Witnesses were Mike Grosidier, Mark Terranova and Pete Whitenight.

¢ Eagle Bend Ace: Tom Brady of Eudora recorded a hole-in-one Monday at Eagle Bend. Brady used a 5-iron on the 153-yard No. 8 hole. Witnesses were essentially the entire Brady bunch: Tim Brady, Scott Brady, Steve Brady and Tommy Brady witnessed the shot.

¢ Kaw Valley Force: The Kaw Valley Force U10 girls team placed third in the Midwest Soccer Tournament Sunday-Monday in Olathe. The players: are Margaret Lockwood, Olivia Lemus, Carson Drake, Mia Romano, Rachel Schuck, April Hodges, Sabrea Platz, Aubin Murphy, Abi Hummel, Skylar Drum and Maria Duncan.
