Haskell Indian Nations University is hoping the Lawrence community will help adopt its little rascals for the holidays.

These aren’t ordinary rascals. They are the children of Haskell students who are in need this holiday season.

This is the fifth year of the Adopt-a-Haskell Rascal program, which collects gifts for the children.

The gifts will be distributed at the Annual Christmas Program on Dec. 6.

Once donors sign up, they may choose a child ranging from newborn to teenager.

Each child receives up to four gifts, ranging from clothes to toys.
