Douglas County Historical Society’s annual dinner and meeting is Nov. 22 at the Watkins Community Museum of History, 1047 Mass. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the historical society.

A silent auction and social hour begins at 6 p.m. Dinner and the formal meeting begins at 7:15 p.m.

An election of new officers and board members for the historical society will be part of the formal meeting, and 10th U.S. Circuit District Court Judge Deanell Tacha will speak.
