Ningpo City, China ? Lawrence’s Mioshia Wagoner lost, 11-1, to Jie Li Tang from China in the championship bout of the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships at 80 kg (light heavyweight division) on Saturday.

Wagoner, a Haskell Indian Nations University graduate, earned a silver medal for her participation in the prestigious international event. The U.S. boxing team earned two silver and two gold bronze medals at the event.
