Marlo Michalowski has joined Body Boutique, 2330 Yale Road, as its newest certified personal trainer. She earned certifications as a personal trainer and a corrective exercise specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

With a corrective exercise specialist certification, Michalowski is trained to find and correct muscle imbalances and joint dysfunctions that may lead to common injuries.

She said she became a personal trainer because she believes physical fitness is one of the key elements of happiness.
