Madl Horse Wins: Ty Nemo, a horse owned by Ted Madl, won the World Champion Amateur Gelding Award at the American Paint Horse Assn. competition last weekend in Fort Worth, Texas. Two other horses owned by Madl, who lives in Wellsville and owns businesses in Lawrence and Baldwin City, received top-five placings.
