Ames, Iowa ? Chase Daniel threw for 328 yards and two touchdowns, and No. 12 Missouri clinched the Big 12 North and a spot in the conference title game by crushing Iowa State, 52-20, Saturday night.

The Tigers’ opponent is still anyone’s guess, with Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech all still in the mix for the South title.

Swirling winds and temperatures in the high 20s had little effect on Daniel and Missouri’s high-flying offense. Daniel went 32-of-40 and completed his first 16 passes as the Tigers (9-2, 5-2 Big 12) jumped to a 31-7 halftime lead.

Derrick Washington rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns, and Jeremy Maclin caught eight passes for 103 yards and a score for Missouri, which has won four straight since a two-game losing streak that bounced the Tigers out of the national championship picture.

Missouri’s victory also means that the Nov. 29 showdown at Arrowhead Stadium against Kansas will be mostly for pride, rather than the de facto North title game it appeared it could be in August.

Kansas lost to Texas, 35-7, on Saturday. That, along with Missouri’s victory, eliminated the Jayhawks from the division title hunt.

Missouri was nearly perfect in the first half, scoring on five of six possessions.

Austen Arnaud threw for 326 yards and two touchdowns for Iowa State (2-9, 0-7), setting a school record with 36 completions. The Cyclones have lost nine straight.

No. 11 Oklahoma State 30, Colorado 17
Boulder, Colo.– Zac Robinson broke Colorado’s hearts again, leading Oklahoma State past the Buffaloes, four years after spurning a scholarship offer from the Buffaloes.

Playing in his home state for the first time since high school, Robinson threw for 217 yards and a touchdown and ran for another.

Coming off a 56-20 whipping at the hands of No. 2 Texas Tech last week, the Cowboys got off to another slow start, settling for chip-shot field goals on their first two drives, an early warning sign that this wouldn’t be another offensive onslaught.

The Cowboys (9-2, 5-2 Big 12) have a week off before their showdown with archrival Oklahoma.

The Buffs (5-6, 2-5) have to win at Nebraska in two weeks to have a chance at a bowl bid.

Baylor 41, Texas A&M 21
Waco, Texas – With a couple of long passes and some nifty pitches, Robert Griffin helped lead Baylor to a rare victory over Texas A&M that ensured the turnover-plagued Aggies a losing season.

Griffin threw touchdown passes of 31 and 55 yards, and Jacoby Jones ran for two scores. It was only the second time the Bears won in their last 23 meetings against Texas A&M.

The Aggies (4-7, 2-5 Big 12) came in with slim bowl hopes in their first season under coach Mike Sherman, but had five turnovers. That included two interceptions by linebacker Joe Pawelek, the second coming in the end zone in the fourth quarter.
