Miami – Dwyane Wade scored 29 points, Mario Chalmers set a franchise record with nine steals, and Miami scored 12 straight points in the fourth quarter.

Former Heat guard, Tim Hardaway, who was in the building, previously owned the franchise record for steals in a game with eight.

Wade added seven rebounds and six assists. Miami forced 26 turnovers – matching the most in the NBA this season – and moved to 2-0 at home for the first time since 2004.

Minneapolis – Tony Parker scored a career-high 55 points, including a 20-footer at the buzzer to force a second overtime, in the San Antonio Spurs’ 129-125 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night.

Suns 113, Pacers 103

Indianapolis – Amare Stoudemire scored 49 points for Phoenix, falling a point short of his career high.

Stoudemire was 17-for-21 from the field, made 15 free throws without a miss and had 11 rebounds, six assists and five steals.

Cavaliers 107, Bulls 93

Cleveland – LeBron James scored a season-high 41 points – 15 on free throws – and Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 15 points and 10 rebounds for Cleveland.

Toronto – Tayshaun Prince scored 16 of his 27 points in the second quarter, and Richard Hamilton had 22 to help Detroit improve to 4-0.

New York – Zach Randolph had 25 points and 13 rebounds, Nate Robinson scored all 24 of his points in the first half, and New York ruined former Knicks coach Larry Brown’s first game back at Madison Square Garden.

Celtics 96, Thunder 83

Oklahoma City – Paul Pierce had 20 points and nine rebounds, and Ray Allen scored 18 points for Boston.

Kevin Garnett added 17 points and eight rebounds.

Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 17 points, but was 6-for-15 from the field.

Hawks 87, Hornets 79

New Orleans – Joe Johnson scored 24 points and the Atlanta Hawks made 12 3-pointers to improve to 3-0 and drop New Orleans to 3-1.

Reserve Flip Murray added 14 points, hitting a pair of threes in the fourth quarter, including one as the shot clock expired during a 14-2 surge that put Atlanta in the lead for good.

Chris Paul had 22 points and 11 assists for New Orleans.

Bucks 112, Wizards 104, OT

Milwaukee – Richard Jefferson scored 32 points, rookie Luc Richard Mbah a Moute added 17 and Milwaukee overcame a 14-point fourth-quarter deficit.

Jazz 103, Trail Blazers 96

Salt Lake City – Mehmut Okur scored 22 points, Carlos Boozer added 20 – including four in the final 30 seconds – and the Utah Jazz held off the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night to stay undefeated.
