Humane society sets garage sale
The Lawrence Humane Society has collected enough items to sell at its annual garage sale fundraiser June 6 and 7.
Society officials ask that no more donations be dropped off at the shelter, 1805 E. 19th St. Rather, anyone interested in making a sale donation is asked to first call the shelter, 843-6835.
The garage sale will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days at 3813 Greenway Drive in the East Hills Business Park.
All proceeds will benefit Lawrence Humane Society.
