Law enforcement report

¢ A 22-year-old Lawrence man who suffered a fractured skull and facial injuries during a fight early Sunday in a downtown Lawrence alley was listed in good condition Friday at Kansas University Hospital. Lawrence police said they were searching for a white, college-aged man with a stocky build and a tattoo on one of his arms.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 2008 Chevy Impala, which was reported stolen earlier by an Avis car rental employee in Kansas City, Mo., was recovered May 14 in the 2300 block of Surrey Drive. The car was valued at $15,000.

¢ A 56-year-old Leavenworth man reported a theft to Leavenworth police Wednesday. Items reported stolen include a Smith and Wesson .357 caliber revolver, two 14 karat gold rings and miscellaneous costume jewelry. Estimated loss is $1,100. The theft occurred in the 2100 block of McIntyre Road in Leavenworth.

¢ A Winchester model 70 rifle was among several items reported stolen from a Leavenworth home Wednesday. A 42-year-old Leavenworth woman reported the rifle, a laptop computer, Play Station and prescription medication, Robaxin, stolen from the residence in the 28000 block of 203rd Street. Estimated loss is $2,700.

¢ A 51-year-old Lawrence man reported the windows and windshield of a Mercury Village were damaged Thursday in the 2400 block of Red Bud Lane. Estimated loss is $1,000.
