Symphony in the Flint Hills

Tickets for the third-annual Symphony in the Flint Hills go on sale Monday. This year’s concert, which will be June 14, will take place just east of the National Scenic Byway near Council Grove. The Kansas City Symphony again will play for the event, which is expected to draw around 6,500 people. Tickets – which sold out quickly last year – are available by calling (816) 471-0400 or going online at www.kcsymphony.org. Cost is $45 for general admission and $30 for children 12 years and younger.
