The following area athletes were named to the 2008 all-Frontier League softball team for their play on the diamond this spring.

The first team consisted of the following: Callie Craig, pitcher, Baldwin High; Hailie Ray, pitcher, Ottawa High; Jamie Voigts, catcher, Ottawa High; Evan Folks, catcher Eudora High; Kayci Vickers, first base, Eudora High; Haley Finucane, second base, Baldwin High; Alex Zordel, third base, Baldwin High; and Mackenzie Salzman, outfield, Eudora High.

The second team included: Anna Mages, pitcher, Ottawa High; Taylor Moore, second base, Ottawa High; and Jori Graf, third base, Ottawa High.

Honorable mention athletes included: Jordin Burford, shortstop, De Soto High; and Shelby Miller, shortstop, Ottawa High.
