EMU Theatre provides Shakespeare parody

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, two lesser-known characters from Shakespeare’s “Hamlet,” become the main characters in “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.” The show, written by Tom Stoppard, produced by EMU Theatre and directed by Jeff Sorrels, will bring a Shakespeare-in-the-park-like atmosphere to South Park beginning tonight. The family-friendly play provides plenty of laughs. The show is at 7 p.m. today and continues with shows at 2 p.m. Sunday and at 7 p.m. June 13 and 14. Tickets are $6 and are available at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H., or at the shows.
