Law enforcement report

Lawrence Police responded to multiple calls of gunshots at an east Lawrence trailer park. Police were called about 11:15 p.m. to the park on East 19th Street near the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds. The investigation was continuing early this morning. No official details were available.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 21-year-old Lawrence man reported a car dashboard was damaged in the 3600 block of West 24th Street on Tuesday. The estimated damage is $1,500. He also reported a $400 Panasonic car stereo was stolen, but it was recovered the same day.

¢ A 62-year old Lawrence man reported several items were stolen and antique drawers were damaged between July 15 and July 22 in the 500 block of North Eighth Street. Items reported stolen include 25 rolls of state quarters, 10 rolls of U.S. wheat pennies, two Royal Crown Cola thermometers and turquoise stones. Damaged were a kitchen storm window, antique dresser drawer, bookshelf drawer and rolltop desk drawer. The estimated loss is $1,220.

¢ A 28-year-old Lawrence woman reported a 2002 Ford Focus valued at $7,000 was stolen from the 2400 block of Alabama Street between Monday and Tuesday.

¢ According to a Kansas University Public Safety Office report, an unknown suspect reportedly gained entry to a secured office in Stauffer-Flint Hall and removed a 15-inch Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer. The computer is valued at $2,000. The crime occurred between July 1 and July 24.

¢ Several ground-level windows on the north side of Snow Hall were reportedly damaged from what appeared to be BB gun shots, according to a KU Public Safety Office report. The estimated damage is $5,500.
