Panelists from six community agencies will address elder abuse at an educational forum organized by the Jayhawk Area Agency on Aging. The event is from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical station five, 1911 Stewart Ave.

The panelists will discuss what community members can do to address the problem.

Panelists include representatives from Adult Protective Services, the office of the attorney general, Kansas Securities Commission, Long-term Care Ombudsman Program, Bert Nash Center and Capital Federal Bank fraud department.
