City band concert canceled
Lawrence City Band has canceled its concert for Wednesday night.
Duane Peterson, special events supervisor for the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department, said the “Star-Spangled Spectacular” has been called off because Douglas County is under a severe thunderstorm warning.
