College Station, Texas ? Takia Starks led Texas A&M with 18 points as the Aggies beat Missouri 62-43 on Tuesday.

Starks hit three jumpers in the first four minutes as the Aggies jumped out to an 8-0 lead. Missouri turned the ball over 19 times in the first half as Texas A&M (15-6, 3-4 Big 12) coasted to a 36-23 halftime lead. The Aggies never trailed in the game.

Shakara Jones led Missouri (8-12, 1-6) with 15 points. Alyssa Hollins added 12 points.

The Aggies shot 36 percent from the field to the Tigers’ 43 percent. Texas A&M won the rebounding contest, 40-33.
