Governor to unveil budget plan
Topeka ? Gov. Kathleen Sebelius outlined her recommendations for the legislative session on Monday. Now come the details.
Sebelius’ budget director Duane Goossen was scheduled to brief the media this morning on her proposed budget for the fiscal year that starts July 1.
In her State of the State address, Sebelius released some details, including increases in funding for early childhood education, all-day kindergarten and college scholarships.
But today she will lay out her entire spending recommendation for state government.
