Pioneer Ridge Retirement Community is in need of volunteers to call bingo games at 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Volunteers are also needed to play games with seniors at 3 p.m. Friday afternoons.

Immediate volunteer needs

¢ The Ballard Center seeks volunteers to help with a commodities truck lift from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16. Volunteers must be comfortable lifting and moving heavy objects. To volunteer, contact Paul at 842-0729.

¢ Brookcreek Learning Center seeks volunteers to help in classrooms as assistant teachers at all times during the school day. Volunteers are required to submit to a background check. To volunteer, contact Lindsay Brooks at 865-0022 or lindsay@ballardcenter.org.

¢ The Lawrence Community Theatre is looking for help both on-stage and off-stage volunteers for the production of “Greater Tuna.” Volunteers on stage can work as crew members handling props, costumes, set construction or lights and sound. Off-stage volunteers can assist as house managers, ushers, box office attendants and bartenders.
